39th Annual CHE Playoffs Scenarios...
Monday, February 01, 2010

With only a couple of weekends left in the regular season, Playoffs spots are soon to be determined.  Here are the up-to-date Playoffs scenarios…

The following teams have clinched berths in the 39th Annual CHE Playoffs:

California of PA-I

Penn State Altoona

Robert Morris D-III

Indiana of PA D-II

*Congratulations to the California of PA-I "Vulcans" who have clinched the Kaleina Cup and North Division Championship for the fourth consecutive season along with the #1-Overall Seed in the CHE Playoffs!

*Penn State Altoona can clinch the South Division and the #2-Overall Seed with one point in their final two games or an IUP D-II loss.

*Fredonia State-I can clinch a Playoff berth with one point in their final two games.

*Pittsburgh D-II will earn a playoff spot with four points in their final three games.  Pittsburgh D-II also holds a tiebreaker edge over Penn State Behrend and Saint Vincent College.

*UPJ and West Virgina D-II have been eliminated from Playoff Contention.

I will have more comprehensive tiebreakers next week after more games are played.
