2000-01 All Star Game

All Star 2001Date: Saturday, April 7, 2001
Location: Ice Castle Arena, Castle Shannon, PA
Teams: WPCHA North (Champions) vs. WPCHA South (Challengers)
Winner: WPCHA South
Final Score: South 7 d. North 6
MVP: South, John Braush (#19)

The 2000-01 WPCHA All-Star Game & College Expo was held at the new Ice Castle Arena in Castle Shannon, PA. This was the very first WPCHA sponsored event at the top notch venue. Last year had a small re-alignment from the first year. UPJ, who was a member of the North All-Stars for the first all-star game was now a member of the South. In addition, this was the first year St. Vincent College participated and the last year for Robert Morris College and W&J. Just as the inaugural year, the All-Star Game and College Expo was a success with an impressive number of students requesting school/hockey information and a capacity crowd on hand to witness the finest collegiate hockey talent in the area. The WPCHA looks to out-do itself once again for this season's installment.
